2014 Ellman Family BROTHERS BLEND Proprietary Blend Napa Valley image

Named for brothers, Neil and Lance Ellman, the 2014 Brothers Blend consists of a larger concentration of Cabernet Sauvignon complimented with 27% Merlot.  We consider this wine our “tribute to Pomerol”. This is a wine that can be savored alone or with the accompaniment of a meal.

Bright, medium ruby color with purple overtones. The wine offers generous aromas of violet, plum, anise, cassis, and mint with restrained floral overtones.  On the palate, it is light and well-balanced clean fruit. Medium body and ripe tannins with juicy plum, blackberry and dusty coffee notes in the background, all magnified on a long, subtle finish.
