2011 Husic Palm Terrace Napa image

A touch of Petite Verdot in the blend but this is all estate and it is pretty much everything that does not make it into the Husic, only 400 cases produced. A good amount of fine herbs dark chocolate, currant and cassis berry fruit, nice richness and complexity on the nose, notes of pine and peppery spice. A very big and chewy wine with lots of dark berry fruit, sweet herbs and mocha, rich fruit, fresh earth and an array of spice on the finish, very well built this wine is drinking nicely but has the balance to last for a decade in the cellar. finish 45+ Excellent +
