2010 Robert Mondavi Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Napa

The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve (a blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc) exhibits a dense purple color, more tannin, structure and spice, terrific richness and plenty of black currant, vanillin and loamy soil characteristics. This is 100% Tokalon Fruit, a good amount of dark currant and dark cherry fruit on the nose with notes of coffee, fresh loamy earthy notes, dark chocolate, herbs and a light minty notes to the dark berry fruit. A very firm wine on the tongue with a solid core of dark currant and dark cherry fruit, cassis with a nice amount of dark coco, fresh loamy earthy notes and a firm hand of acidity very well built this wine needs some time, very well built and even better on the second day.
