2010 Dry Creek Valley The Mariner Meritage

A blend of 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, 7% Malbec, 6% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petite Verdot. A good amount of cedar and cigar box spice notes to the currant and plum fruit on the nose, very concentrated and rich with coco and aromas of fresh plowed earth, nice complexity. Very rich and layered on the tongue, thick and chewy with a solid core of fruit, and all that spice, earth and a firm hand of tannins here through the finish. Finish 50+ Excellent +
