2009 Cenyth Sonoma image

A blend of 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot, 7% Malbec, the fruit is form the Alexander Mountain estate, Bennett Valley. This is Pierre Selan's Daughter and Julia Jackson. A very intense bouquet of fresh plowed earth, loam earthy notes, sweet tobacco spice, dark spices, mocha, dark currant and dark earth, nice complexity here on the nose. A very rich and unctuous wine on the tongue with silky smooth tannins, a solid core of fruit and a long layered finish, echoing the nuance from the nose through the finish. finish 45+ Excellent +
