The best day is blending day. It only took two days to agree upon the 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Franc, 9% Petit Verdot—all from Klipsun, Wallula (the Benches), Boushey, Aldercreek, and a touch of Meek vineyard blend. Last year 67 cases of “The Royale†were produced, and it was gone in two months. If you can believe it, this year’s taste even better. It might be one of the most complex wines from the winery. There are 267 cases that will not disappoint.
