~~The 2006 is a blend of vineyard blocks rather than varieties and is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Vineyards in the north Valley impart the lushness of the mid-palate, while vineyards on Mount Veeder. Atlas Peak and Howell Mountain provide their firm structure. The synergistic combination of these strengths of character results in a powerfully expressive wonder-wine. Delicious middle, thorough ripeness and perfect tannin framework put this one right up with our 2001 vintage, one of the best reds we’ve had the pleasure to have known.
