2014 Prelude a Grand Puy Ducasse Pauillac image

(88-90 points) The Château Grand Puy Ducasse 2014 has a clean and pure bouquet: cedar and tobacco marrying nicely with the black fruit, though it needs a little more thrust. The palate is medium-bodied with a supple, fleshy, coconut-tinged entry. The oak needs to be better integrated with the fruit: it's seductive at the moment but it needs to translate that into substance in bottle.
