2012 Veedercrest Chardonnay Napa

This was part of Andre Tchelistcheff''s estate and now Ron Fenolio is taken stewart ship of the property up on Mount Veeder. A very focused bouquet of lemon drop candy, hints of lemon blossom notes, this wine spends 24 months in oak and you get a bit of that toasty oak spice here on the nose. Bright and crisp style of Chardonnay with lots of lemon citrus on the palate, a nice firm hand of acidity through the finish, not much oak spice, texture of skim milk on the palate. Finish 40+ Very Good +
