2012 Masi Amarone Costasera

A classic blend of 70% Corvina, 25% Rondinella and 5% Molinara and they like a little Botrytis in their Corvina to get a little added richenss, not a classic style of, fast fermentation no oxidation giving you a brighter wine less of that dried fruit in this style. Dark cherry fruit almost liqueur like in richness and some sweet tobacco spice, brown spice and a note of that clay like minerality. A good amount of sweet tobacco spice, sweet cherry liqueur on the tongue, brown spice, a potpouree of dried floral notes and some tannins here on the finish, nice structure but also is very fresh and bright at the end.
