2011 M. Chapoutier Chante Alouette Hermitage Blanc

Very forward and juicy bouquet, 1/3 sees barrel for fermentation, new oak and you get some of that perfume here also, quince, pretty lavender floral notes on the nose, very concentrated and rich, flinty mineral notes, vanilla and nutmeg, nice complexity here. Very rich and creamy on the tongue with a good amount of peach and apricot like fruit with honey and perfumed floral notes along with tongue tingly mineral notes very long and layered finish, very well built.
