"The First Duty of wine is to be Red...the second is to be a Burgundy" -- Harry Waugh

Our first duty is to drink the oldest wines as quick as we can!!!

If you have been paying attention to my propaganda over the years you know that Burgundy is one of my favorite wine regions of the world and when we recently acquired these old wines a recent cellar acquisition I immediately set these old dogs aside for scientific evaluation.  I have never had a Burgundy from the 1940 vintage so it’s time to put some work in studying 35+ year old red Burgundy on Saturday, September 10th.

We have an incredible collection of older burgundies on the table this evening going back to 1940 vintage, including 1961, 1964, 1966, 1970, 1979 and the youngest wine tonight is from the 1987 vintage!!

We even have a few of these wines available for sale and right now we have an incredible collection of Burgundy wines from the 1970’s all the way back to the 1928 vintage!  check out www.winewatch.com for current stock on everything available at www.winewatch.com.

The fee for this tasting which includes dinner is $295 + tax, for reservations call 954-523-9463 or e-mail andy@winewatch.com
