If you have been paying attention to my propaganda over the years you know that Burgundy is one of my favorite wine regions of the world and when we recently acquired these old wines from one of our cellar acquisitions I immediately set these old dogs aside for scientific evaluation. I have never had a selection of vintage red Burgundy like this in the store and for this tasting we are going back to the 1934 vintage! This is the first wine I have ever tasted from the 1934 vintage and we have wines on this offering going back to 1928!! When, I got this wine I knew the first bottle would be destined for one of our “Once in a Lifetime” vintage Burgundy events.
We have an incredible collection of older red Burgundy available in the store right now going all the way back to 1928!! I have included all the old Burgundy from 1979 back so you can host an incredible vintage red Burgundy tasting of your own at home if you can’t make this event.
