2015 Chateau La Mascaronne "Quat 'saisons" Rose (3 Liter)

A quintessential Provencal Rosé that’s made from 70% Cinsault, 16% Grenache and 14% Syrah, the 2015 Quat'Saisons offers up a light pink color to go with mouthwatering aromas and flavors of wild strawberries, rosé petal and salty minerality. This wine is a salmon color with orange highlights, a pretty nose of wild flowers, light red berry and lime citrus with hints of sage.  A very refreshing wine that leaves the mouth yearning for a second glass, tart cherry and pomegranate fruit and that pretty floral nuance through the finish.  Finish 35+ Very Good

2014 G Chateau Guiraud Bordeaux Blanc

The only make 150,000 bottles, this is 105 hectare estate and they are in the city between the Church and Chateau D'Yquem, this was the first growth to be classified and this means that the wine is from the region and it must be sweet and the appellation here is Bordeaux dry white wine because of the dryness and they do not have the Moilleux level but there is a minimum level of sweetness to a Sauternes 120 grams per liter. A lovely savory character to the palate with a good amount of fruit, melon, white grape fruit, quince, a gravelly mineral nuance, a rich texture on the tongue, good weight in the mid palate, and a lovely freshness to the finish a long mineral laced finish. A blend of 50/50 Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc they have specific parcels in the vineyard that are dedicated to making this dry wine, tart finish, could use a bit of time and shows much better on the second day, a great introduction to the dry whites of Sauternes! Finish 40+ Excellent (89-91 Points) "The G de Guiraud 2014 has quite a complex bouquet with lively citrus fruit intermixed with sea cave scents. There is something almost marine-like here. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, appreciable weight in the mouth with light green apple and spice notes emerging toward the finish. This is how to do dry white Sauternes." 2010 Henry Natter Sancerre Francois De La Grange de Montigny

This Sauvignon is harvested at peak ripeness on Montigny’s hillsides. 60 years old vine! One- year maturation in hundred-year-old tuns. This Sancerre reveals a personal stamp with golden hue. A silky and nervous wine. This cuvée is ample and intense. It offers rich scents and flavors and reveals an aromatic complexity.

2013 Clos Du Val Sauvignon Blanc Napa

Wine Enthusiast 89 points - There’s a distinct freshness to this wine. Stainless-steel fermented and aged, it’s high in acidity with enough spirit to feel almost effervescent. Lightly textured tastes range from pineapple to papaya, a squeeze of Lemonheads candy on the long finish. (Feb 2015)

2013 Heritance Sauvignon Blanc Napa

It has typical Sauvignon Blanc varietal aromas - good citrus notes with just a hint of ripe grapefruit. The palate has tropical flavors, with passion fruit and guava undertones. The mouth feel is fresh, round and fleshy, displaying pleasant acidity without angularity. This can be attributed to the Roussanne which softens the inherent acidity in the Sauvignon Blanc while imparting richness to the final blend, important in this cooler year. The wine is smooth and well balanced with great complexity and a long finish.

2014 Domaine Des Valanges Saint Veran MAGNUM

This cuvée is a blend of wine made from thirty years old vines on various slopes in the commune of Davaye in the following climats (vineyards sites): Les Valanges, Les Carettes, Les Terres-Noires and Les Creches. The Vineyards plots face south by south-east and north-east. The terroir is clay limestone with a high percentage of fairly lean limestone soil. The vines grow on the middle of the Solutre and Vergisson Slopes.

2013 Debeaumarche le Combe Bourgogne Blanc

A very heavy limestone minerality to the nose here along with a good amount of tree fruit, hints of marzipan.  A nice richness on the tongue for a Bourgogne this wine is Pulignyesk with nice minerality through the finish.  Finish 35+    Very Good +

2013 J. Hofstatter Gewurztraminer Kolbenhof Alto Adige

This is a single vineyard wine and all from estate fruit, the other wines they have are approximately 50% estate juice. The nose here is just incredible, complex with lots of perfumed floral nuance, geranium and lavender, orange blossom. Lovely creamy texture on the tongue with layers of ripe peach and lychee, perfumed floral notes, just a stunning wine. Finish 50+ Most Excellent

This wine is a blend and there is Picpoul Blanc, Rousanne and Viognier, Halter Ranch is 281 acres of vines and this ava was created in 2013 there are 11 different now, Tablas Creek is in this region as is Daou and Justin.  A good amount of white tree fruits, lychee nut, white peach and a nice hand of wet stone like minerality here, white flowers and more.  Juicy berry and melon fruit on the tongue with a nice touch of floral nuance and a tongue tingly minerality.  Finish 40+   Very Good +
