Fine, Fine Wine - Motley Cru
If you have been paying attention to my propaganda over the years you know that Burgundy is one of my favorite wine regions of the world and when we recently acquired these old wines from one of our cellar acquisitions I immediately set these old dogs aside for scientific evaluation. I have never had a selection of 1971 Burgundy like this in the store and when we received this collection the first thing I did was set some of the top wines aside for this tasting with 1971 being my all-time favorite old vintage from Burgundy I knew these wines were destined for one of our “Once in a Lifetime” Vintage Burgundy events.
We also just received some great wines from Bouchard Pere et Fils cellars in Beaune to give you a few younger examples of Burgundy and these 1995, 1999 Premier Cru and 2010 Grand Cru wines are priced at or below the current releases from this producer- incredible values for mature wines that will continue to age further in your cellar.
We have most of the wines on the table tonight available for sale and right now we also have an incredible collection of Burgundies from the 1960’s, 1970’s and 1980’s in the store right now, so I have included them on this offering along with the cellar selections from Bouchard Pere et Fils.
