“I cook with wine; sometimes I even add it to the food.”

W.C. Fields

I will not cook with a wine that I wouldn't drink!  You have to eat the food so if you do buy wine for cooking don't leave it on the counter, keep it fresh in the fridge or if you don't use it on a weekly basis put it in the freezer- that is the best way to preserve wine once it has been opened.

Yes- that's correct you can freeze your Le Montrachet after taking a few glasses out of the bottle for a month or more and when you take it out and defrost it you will notice very little difference from the day you opened it!!  And the best part of this wine preservation devise is that everyone has a freezer so check it out and throw away your Coravin!!

In anticipation of our country’s greatest holiday I would like to propose a challenge of epic proportions.  Who makes the best Cabernet Sauvignon?  Is it Napa Valley or Sonoma Valley- you will be the judge!  We are doing serious scientific research here and only those who are brave enough to accept the challenge will see who reigns superior.

There are only 14 spaces available for this tasting and the fee which includes dinner is $225 + tax.  For reservations call 954-523-9463 or e-mail andy@winewatch.com.

For those of you that can’t make it I have included all the Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley that we have in the store.  Not enough room on the offering to include all of the Sonoma Cabernet in the store.  This is also the Wine List for the Wine Bar so any night that we have an event here, Thursday, Friday and Saturday night you can have any of these wines and you private dining room in the Wine Cave where we take a single reservation every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.

We will take up to 15 people but will accept as few as 6 for a curated dinner by Chef Toni.  We must know in advance what food items you want so you will have to coordinate the menu with Toni ahead of time but she can put together any of your favorites from past Wine Bar menus or whatever you want if she has enough notice. The best thing about this table is the view of the wine, we have the largest selection of vintage wine in South Florida and everything is available at a retail price!!  You may want to bring a sweater it is 64 degrees in the wine cave.
