"Even though a number of people have tried, no one has yet found a way to drink for a living."--
Jean Kerr
I beg to differ with that opinion as I do drink for a living and have a show called "What I Drank Yesterday" now on the Instagram TV platform every day following our tastings at 3:30pm you can watch live to see how the wines showed and what the crowd picked as wine of the night!
Speaking of Instagram stars my good friends Jean Charles Boisset is one of the most interesting winery personalities that you will meet. I when I met JCB driving Jean Charles around South Florida doing sales calls back when I worked with Republic National Distributing over 25 years ago and he has the same energy and passion today that he had back then. We put together several wine dinners in the past and were out on more than one occasion after dinner to check out the afterhours festivities of the South Florida nightlife, we also share a common vintage… we are both 1969 babies.
The Boisset family is one of the largest landholders in Burgundy and Jean Charles married Gina Gallo, making this rather important wine family of France now joined by marriage to the largest family owned winery in the world.
Join us for a special evening of Burgundy including the last three outstanding vintages 2018, 2019 and 2020. Our host this evening is one of Jean Charles foot soldiers and Burgundy expert Neil Ruane. These last three vintages are all outstanding in quality and if you love Burgundy you want all three in your cellar!
The fee for the tasting which includes dinner is $195 + tax, for reservations call 954-523-9463 or e-mail andy@winewatch.com.
