Let us celebrate the occasion with wine and sweet words.
Plautus
We always celebrate with wine and there is no point to drinking anything but the best! When we hit a subject, we hit it hard and the 2005 vintage is now 20 years old so it is time to start checking to see how these wines are drinking at this milestone decade for fine wine.
I always say it takes at least 20 years for Bordeaux to start getting interesting and in great vintages like 2005 it could take 30 years! But that is what we do here at Wine Watch….drink the world’s greatest wines at various ages to see just when is the best time to enjoy these great wines and great vintages.
This is true scientific research that we are doing here at the Wine Watch, checking each bottle to see when the best time to consume for the most drinking pleasure. It's hard word but we are willing to sacrifice our body for our wine drinking people. These wines for this tasting are all from the outstanding 2005 vintage in Bordeaux and they are now at 20 years of age. Most of them are the last bottle that we have so no selling tonight but I did list every wine from the 2005 vintage that we have in store at the bottom of this tasting announcement.
