"If all be true that I do think, There are five reasons we should drink: Good wine a friend or being dry Or lest we should be by and by Or any other reason why."
- Henry Aldrich
We have a lot of good reasons to drink at the Wine Watch and now that we’re finished with the holiday rush we will be back to our normal drinking schedule in just over a week’s time. Which means we will be giving our “Wine Drinking People” three chances to come out and drink with us every week in 2021!
Every year we study wines that are 10 and 20 years of age. This is the first of many tastings in 2021 that will feature wines that have reached their first level of maturity. Just like people wines mature with age, they gain nuance and complexity sheading their baby fat becoming less awkward and more balanced. In great vintages this can take decades but the only way to know for sure is to keep checking on a regular basis. Many collectors want to know what the right time is to drink their collectible wines and that is why we host so many vintage wine tastings so you get a chance to experience first-hand how these wines are drinking right now.
Join us as we experience wines that are 10 years old wines from Napa Valley along with a special menu to accompany the tasting wines. This tasting is limited to 14 tasters and the fee for this event is $275 + tax, for reservations call 954-523-9463 or e-mail andy@winewatch.com.
