Speaking of GREAT wines from the U.S.A…. I need a few good men or women to help me drink some really fine wine on this occasion our 10-20 year old Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon wine tasting.  We will be sampling some very small production Napa Valley producers wines and all of these wines are what we would consider to be in their peak decade of drinking.  Most Napa Valley  Cabernet Sauvignon needs at least 10 years to mature before it hits is peak age.  In great vintages it can age longer but 20 years really is as old as most people like their wines.      

We are doing scientific work with wine here at Wine Watch and this course of study is to see if 10 or 20 is the optimum age for Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. If you are ready to study wineology and you love Napa Cabernet Sauvignon this is the perfect opportunity to see what the optimum drinking age is for your taste buds.
