this is a single vineyard and is one of their smallest crus 1.5 hecatres and the average vines are 35 years old and they make around 500 cases, a beautiful bouquet of dark cherry and minty, floral notes, exotic spices and red licorice spice. A big and structured vintage for the Piedmont with a host of dried flowers, exotic spices and dry tannins coming in on the finish, this wine needs time but has everything in proportion.
