Sarah Gott and Aaron Pott were the first winemakers, Sara left in 2004 and Aaron has been there since. A blend of 61% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Franc and 12% Cabernet Sauvignon. A bouquet that is very similar to that of a right bank Bordeaux fresh earth, cigar box spice, dark plum and currant berry fruit, violet floral notes, minty and sweet herbs. A nice amount of toasty oak spice on the nose with pineapple and flinty mineral notes, nice complexity on the nose. Toasty oak spice showing through the finish but has a good amount of pineapple fruit and that flinty mineral note to the end with a firm hand of acidity holding things together nicely. Finish 40+ Excellent

This is upper Maipo valley and this is a great vintage for this wine, 100% varietal with that signature peppery spice and coffee notes that Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon has with a good hand of currant and dark cherry fruit along with fresh earth, nice complexity here on the nose. A very elegant style of Cabernet Sauvignon with nice complexity, an old world style with that rustic peppery spicey note from the nose through the finish along with fine herbs and earth through the finish. Finish 45+ Excellent +

A blend of 95% Tempranillo 5% Merlot, from younger vines aged in oak for 13 months in oak, the name referring to the rocky soils. A beautiful bouquet of dark cherry berry fruit pretty floral notes, toasty oak spice, raw meat notes, bit bouquet and a good hand of fresh earth. A very rich and fruity wine on the tongue with sweet cherry fruit, ripe round tannins and a nice touch of earth and spice on the finish, a fruit forward wine with a nice balance and freshness on the finish, really over delivers for the price- even better on the second day!! Mike Eyres is the winemaker here and Harry Peterson Nedry is the owner and also plays a part in the production here.  Light red berry fruit strawberry and raspberry with notes of brown spices and fresh earth, nice complexity this vineyard site is next to the Beaux Freres vineyard and this is their most recent acquisition.  A very light and savory style of Pinot Noir with lots of nuance, fresh earth, dried flowers and exotic spice through the finish.  Finish 40+    Excellent +
