"Yo . . . did you check that Boonesfarm vintage Y2K? That was dope! It was big and bright with the complexity of Kool Aid! It was jammy like a PBJ without those earthy tannins! You hear what I'm saying?"
There are so many great choices in the $20 and under section of the store today there is no reason to drink Boonesfarm! I always say, “Drink the Good Stuff First” and we’re trying to take down as many KILLER bottles as we can!!
And since we just picked up a serious collection of older red Burgundy, I figured we should pop a few bottles to test out the goods. We have never seen such an array of exceptionally kept old Burgundy including a selection going all the way back to the 1928 vintage.
Tonight, we will be featuring a selection of Burgundy that is from 1976 for the youngster going back to the 1959 vintage. With some great vintages on the table like 1964, 1966 and 1971 It is always a surprise what the best wine is at the end of the night. So, we continue our study of 50-60 year old Burgundies.
There are only 14 spaces available for this old burgundy tasting and the fee for this event which includes dinner is $250 + tax. For reservations call 954-523-9463 or e-mail andy@winewatch.com.
