CLIVE COATES MW (Master of Wine) is one of the world's leading wine authorities. We welcome back Clive as an honoured MC of our event. His lifetime of distinguished activity in the field has been recognised world-wide particularly in Burgundy. With books like The Wines of Bordeaux, The great Wines of France, Cote d’Or and many more his works are part of any great wine library. His numerous books are considered some of the best ever written on the subject of wines and in particular the history of the vineyards. For more than twenty years his independent fine wine magazine “THE VINE” has been read by oenophiles world-wide.

Presented by Fred Ek
Continuing our journey in Côte-Rôtie adding to it the Ermitage with a stunning collection taking us back into the 60’s once again. This is a huge 19 wine stunning vertical carefully developed by Fred. Here we will learn of the history of the Guigal properties as they added each property and it developed to what it is today.

This is what L’ecole is about – this Mason with a history in Burgundy dating back to 1214, we will take you from Côte de Nuits to Chablis. They produce many different wines in the region as you will learn about the entire holdings.

We are lucky to have Adrian take us through what they are doing now and why these wines keep getting better and better.
