There are a few vintages that are universally heralded in bordeaux like 1982, but there are few that were so controversial as to make the reputation of the man that was correct. Well, 1982 was the breakout vintage for Robert Parker Jr. as a wine critic. While the rest of the wine world criticized this vintage because of its precocious nature, Parker stated unequivocally that this was one of the greatest vintages in modern times, if not the greatest. Well Bobby was right and all of the naysayers have fallen by the wayside as the undisputed king of the critics in the wine world today is Robert Parker JR.
Join us as we will be drinking some of the best wines from this legendary vintage that are now just starting to reach their peak drinking years. Toni Lampasone from Wine Watch Catering will be making a few tasty treats to accompany the tasting wines. This fee for this event is $350 per person + tax for reservations call 954-523-9463.
